          Application Field and Working Principle of Gas Turbine Flowmeter


          Gas turbine flowmeter is mainly used to measure the flow of medium fluids such as air, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, methane, natural gas and steam in industrial pipelines. It is almost independent of the parameters such as fluid density, pressure, temperature and viscosity when measuring the volume flow rate under working conditions. No mechanical parts, so high reliability, small maintenance. Instrument parameters can be stable for a long time. The gas vortex flowmeter adopts piezoelectric stress sensor, which has high reliability and can work in the working temperature range of - 20 ~250 ~C.           The output pulse frequency signal of the gas vortex flowmeter is not affected by the change of fluid physical properties and components. That is to say, the instrument coefficients are only related to the shape and size of the vortex generator and the pipeline within a certain range of Reynolds number. But as a flowmeter, mass flow should be detected in material balance and energy measurement. At this time, the output signal of flowmeter should monitor volume flow and fluid density simultaneously. Fluid physical properties and components have a direct impact on flow measurement. Gas Vortex Street Flowmeter is a new type of flowmeter for measuring fluid flow in closed pipeline based on Carmen Vortex principle. Because of its good medium adaptability, the volume flow of steam, air, gas, water and liquid can be measured directly without temperature and pressure compensation.           In order to improve the high temperature and vibration resistance of gas, the gas vortex flowmeter can be used under high temperature (350 C) and strong vibration (< 1g) because of its unique structure and material selection. With the change of load, the small flow rate of Zui is often lower than the lower limit of the instrument. The instrument does not work in its Zui optimal working section. Temperature and pressure compensating integrated sensor with temperature and pressure can be used to measure the gas flow directly, so as to show the standard volume flow of gas.

          Working Principle of Gas Turbine Flowmeter
          Gas turbine flowmeter is measured by turbine. It first converts the velocity of the flow into the speed of the turbine, and then converts the speed into an electrical signal proportional to the flow rate. This flowmeter is used to detect instantaneous flow and total accumulated flow. Its output signal is frequency and easy to digitize. The induction coil and * magnet are fixed on the shell. When a ferromagnetic turbine blade passes through a magnet, the magnetoresistance of the magnetic circuit changes, which generates an induction signal. The signal is amplified and shaped by an amplifier and sent to a counter or a frequency meter to show the total accumulated flow. At the same time, the pulse frequency is converted from frequency to voltage to indicate the instantaneous flow rate. The speed of the impeller is proportional to the flow rate, and the speed of the impeller is proportional to the total flow. The output of the turbine flowmeter is a frequency modulation signal, which not only improves the anti-interference ability of the detection circuit, but also simplifies the flow detection system. Its range ratio can reach 10:1, and its accuracy is within (+0.2%). The time constant of the turbine flowmeter with small inertia and size can reach 0.01 seconds.
